The athlete approaches the loaded axle (barbell). At the judge’s signal, the athlete lifts it off the floor, holding it above his head for 1 second with his elbows and knees fully extended and his feet aligned. At the judge’s command, the athlete returns the barbell to its starting position. The athlete who performs the most repetitions is declared the winner.
Do not accompany the shell to knee level during descent. Use padding under the shirt (permitted to perform in one shirt). Repeat the exercise from the platform.
In case of elbow joint injuries and inability to fully extend the arms, the athlete must inform the judge before the start of the competition.
